Summary:

We are a charitable trust (non-profit organisation, NPO) registered with the charity commission of England and Wales in United Kingdom (registration no: 1186752). The trust is based in Nottinghamshire county of England. The Trust was registered in 2019 with the aims and objectives to provide STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education to the young students in Pakistan who otherwise may not have had that opportunity in their lives. The trust plans to achieve this objective by building, equipping and managing a graduate level ‘The British STEM institute’ in Multan Pakistan. Lands and some building costs will be provided by the trustees. It is the intension of the trustees that, in future, a relationship with a British university in England will be developed so as to provide credibility for the qualifications that this Institute will provide. The Institute will be managed by this NPO Charitable trust.

Legal structure:

The trust is registered in England and Wales (UK) as Charitable incorporated organisation (CIO)’ duly authorised to provide services within its objectives according to the law in England. CIO charity structure was created through the charities act 2011 by the British Parliament.

Aims and Objectives:

The Objectives of this charitable CIO are, for the public benefit: –

The advancement of Education. To provide for education from higher secondary school to and including University level in ways which are exclusively charitable according to the law in England and Wales; Specialising in the education and training of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects by the provision of land, buildings and other facilities.

Our People

The Trust was created by a medical doctor who left Pakistan over 50 years ago and is now settled in UK for three generations. His family actively contributes to the British National Health Service (NHS) by providing services in Medicine. Among the 3rd world countries, Pakistan severely lags behind in the socio-economic development especially in the STEM education. Hence the reason to create a charitable trust to help those under privileged students, who otherwise may never get the opportunity to further themselves.
